Agency Promotion

Vine was an American short-form video hosting service where users could share up to 10-second-long looping video clips. The following promotional videos were created to raise awareness about sales, branding, and products for the creative agency Buzzhoney and Giant Eagle super market chain. Using an iPhone, several techniques, such as stop-motion animation, were explored to bring simple yet entertaining narratives to life.
Using manager Clint Hurdle's propensity for nervous gum-chewing as a launching point, the 6-second Vine above was created to celebrate the opening day of the Pittsburgh Pirates. The clip was pushed out to Twitter and Facebook garnering attention with numerous favorites, retweets and reposts. It was the first in a series of promotional Vines to get Buzzhoney's name out during popular social events.

Giant Eagle Cookie Card Promotion

Take a dollar, buy a Cookie Card at Giant Eagle, get a free cookie with each visit, then feel good knowing you've just supported Children's Hosptial. That's the narrative this Vine illustrates with quick edits and DIY sound effects.

Giant Eagle Seasonal Items Promotion

Using stop-motion animation to construct a smoothie, this Vine takes the no-hands approach to entertain Giant Eagle customers while providing a tasty recipe idea.

Giant Eagle Fuel Perks Promotion

Giant Eagle wanted to drive home the idea that customers can fill up on fuel-perks while purchasing gift cards for any occasion. As the animated cutout cards pile up, the fuel-gauge needle shows the gas tank filling up.
